I have no idea what I am going to do for the Rhetorical Analysis paper. I think I want to look into Snow Glass Apples by Neil Gaiman because I am interested in writing about feminism. I am scared about writing a paper that is worth so much of my grade, the rules of the essay are simple. However, because I feel that I am not good at writing I'm going to try my best to make this the best paper I have ever written. I have high hopes for what we are learning and I hope we go more into detail about the RA Paper so that I can do well on it.

On a different note, I was so proud of my group for pulling together an awesome power point for the Monsters as Genres presentation. Our presentation was on Zombies and we talked a lot about zombies throughout history mostly as they are portrayed in film, and games. I think the reason it was so good was because we thought the presentations were due on Monday but they were actually due on Wednesday. That was a happy surprise. In fact, we were ready to present Monday, we had it all together, and when we found out that the presentations were Wednesday that gave us time to add even more detail and make it look even better than it already did.

Another thing the class did this week is we watched "No Way Out" and honestly, I didn't know what to make of it. I almost feel like the guy in the video was the true monster, but at the same time he got rid of his brain as if to say that the monsters can have his body but they can't have his thoughts. There are just so many ways that the short film could be interpreted. I feel somewhat discouraged, because I could not find a deeper meaning to that short film that made complete sense, and it seemed like everyone in class had great ideas about the underlying message that the director was trying to portray. I hope that I don't struggle that way with my RA Paper.
